Wethersfield is a grade Pre-K to 12 public school district with a student population of approximately 700 students. The town of Wethersfield was founded in 1836 by settlers from Wethersfield, Conneticut . Although the town of Wethersfield merged with the town of Kewanee, Wethersfield Township and Wethersfield School District still remain and are a vital part of the City of Kewanee.
The Wethersfield School District prides itself on the fact that all Pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students are part of the same campus, which allows our staff members the opportunity to really know and work with our students during their entire school career.
